Jaipur Marriott Hotel Review

Ashram Marg, Near Jawahar Circle, Rajasthan Jaipur, India 302015

The hotel is outside of the city and close to the Airport. This hotel was booked as part of a tour with Cox and Kings. The hotel has excellent reviews on Trip Advisor so I was looking forward to staying here and I would choose to stay here again and you can find the best prices on the following links for Agoda and Hotel.com. Or use my favourite search website below.

One of the best features of this hotel was the swimming pool. I got the chance to spend a few hours chilling around the pool and loved the ornamental elephants. There was a flight of stairs to get down to the pool area and also a lift. As well as a pool there is a spa and a gym.

It was Easter when I visited and they had a display of Easter eggs and cakes which looked amazing. There is a café that had some delicious looking cakes and I couldn’t resist some chocolate cake and it was really tasty.

My Room at the Jaipur Marriott Hotel

The room was nicely decorated and quite cool even without the air conditioning on. There was also a mini fridge, TV, plenty of storage and the bathroom was lovely.

Reception is very busy in the morning. We were part of a coach tour and there was another coach tour staying so when it came to checking out it took a long time. I would recommend if you have any bills to settle to do it at night or come down very early in the morning.

Food at the Jaipur Marriott Hotel in India

Unfortunately, this hotel is let down by the food but I don’t know if that is because we were spoilt with our first hotel in Delhi where the food was amazing.

As we were going to be sightseeing we were leaving early so had to go for breakfast first thing when it opened at 7.30 but even at this time a lot of the food was not ready.

We had to queue for a long time to get any hot food and they then got the orders wrong. The put lots of salt in their eggs even if you asked for it without salt and it was inedible.

There were 3 drinks machines and 2 of them were not working or were empty so it took ages to get a tea. I don’t think they can cope with large parties as food items were running out and not being replaced.

I stayed here for two nights and on the first day we had a buffet lunch which was really tasty so I don’t understand why the breakfast was not up to scratch. I also had a pizza from the pool bar and it was OK.

However, the staff were really friendly and the concierge and door people made us feel really welcome. They give unlimited complimentary water if you run out you just need to ask for some more. I would stay at this hotel again but skip breakfast.
