Part of the restaurant is actually on a boat, unfortunately the boat doesn’t go anywhere which I guess is a good point otherwise you wont be able to find the delicious burgers in Bristol.
The Three Brothers Burgers can often be seen on the top burgers in Bristol lists so I had to try it out for my Burgers around the world series.
The restaurant in on-board the spyglass which is a static boat on the harbour side in Bristol, but sometimes it does rock, but if you don’t have your sea legs you can sit in the part of the restaurant that is on the side of the road so no risk of that moving.
A great place to watch the world or rather boats go by. This is a popular area with locals to grab a bite to eat and have a beer at the weekend. They have a special offer which is great value.
Good range of choices to meet the needs of any burger lover check out their menu. The menu is standard all year round and then they have seasonal specials for example around Christmas they offer a turkey burger.
Everyday the patties are made from fresh local mince supplied by Buxton Butchers and you can really taste that it is good quality meat. The buns (from Joe’s Bakery) and veg (from French Garden) are also sourced locally. They even have made to order sausages for their hot dogs from Native Breeds if you want something different from a burger.
They have a secret spice mix that is available on the tables, plus can be found in the burgers which I think is what was giving it a unique flavour.
I had the Blue Brothers Burger £8, a single patty topped with caramelised onions and blue Monday cheese. The blue cheese was good not too over powering and I really liked the bun.
My mum had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger £8, a marinated chicken breast, deep fried and served with Cajun mayo. The Cajun mayo was good didn’t blow her head off so not too spicy and the chicken was succulent.
3 Brothers Burger can get busy as it is popular with locals, they take bookings for tables of 6 and above, but anything less is walk in only. Plus there is the option of takeaway.
I liked the variety of beers that they had on offer I went for the Wild Beer – Pogo 4% A light, refreshing American Pale Ale with Orange, Passionfruit & Guava made in Somerset not far from the city of Bristol.
But don’t just take my word for it check out the reviews on TripAdvisor.
