Luxury Hotels in Asia

When you think of luxury I bet the £ signs pop up as there always seems to be a nice price tag associated with luxury accommodation. But when I visited Asia I was so surprised at how reasonable some of the best looking hotels were.

I originally was going to stay in budget hotels to save a bit of money but I didn’t need to here as luxury was a lot cheaper than budget in Europe. I have gathered a collection of the best looking Luxury hotels in Asia. Now I fancy visiting these luxury hotels so I am off to pack my bags, who wants to join me????

Luxury in Thailand

I was actually spoilt for choice of when looking for luxury Thailand vacations. This was my first taste of special hotels when travelling and I think it did open my eyes to what you can find if you search for a bargain. Now I would definitely choose luxury over budget if the price is right.

Mandarava Resort and Spa

14/2 Patak Road, Soi 24, Karon Beach, Karon Beach, Karon, Phuket 83110, Thailand

The Mandarava Resort and Spa has a newly renovated pool and excellent size rooms, only 15 minutes from the main area of Karon. The hotel has excellent views and a free shuttle to Karon village.

I think the highlight of this resort must be the pools. It has 5 swimming pools which are open 7am to 7pm with sun lounges and umbrellas.

  • Mango Pool with a swim up pool bar
  • Pomelo Pool with sea view and a pool bar
  • Papaya Pool with a swim up pool bar
  • Coconut Pool with a swim up pool bar
  • Banana Pool with a pool bar

Luxury in India

When I did the Golden Triangle in North India I stayed at the Marriott in Jaipur and the pool was amazing. I just wish that we had more time here so I could have chilled by the pool for a few more days. I also loved the pool at Le Meridian in Gurgaon just outside the city of Delhi. The pool lit up at night and was a lovely place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. It is the first hotel I have stayed at that has peacocks flying over whilst you are relaxing by the pool.

The owners of this villa want its guests of get an “insight to local life, regional food, cooking and culture” with this in mind they are happy to arrange local tours and excursions with a popular tour being the river crossing and tea at Mohanan’s Tea House. Which can be followed up with a delicious lunch with the Officers at the Public Works Department while gaining insight into the way government and community works in this part of India.

The hotel welcomes its guest to join local walks and offers information on self guided walks around the area. They even have a cooking lesson with their head chef.

Luxury Hotels in Vietnam

During a recent 10 day of Vietnman I fell in love with this country and I can not wait to go back and explore. One of the areas that I heard such good things about was Phu Quoc.

It seemed that this was the place to go to relax on the white sands and even dive to the reefs. This area of Vietnam has many Luxury resorts on offer, I would even go back here just for a beach holiday as I heard so many good things about this area.

Mango Bay Resort

Ong Lang Beach | Phu Quoc Island | Kien Giang Province | Vietnam | 920000

The Mango Bay resort has a number of bungalows with excellent views of the seas, pools and if you are lucky you might spot some of the local monkeys. The Spa over looks the sea and offers 100% natural ingredients in their products and all staff are trained to the highest standard. I love having a massage when I am travelling so would be booking myself into here as soon as I arrived.
