Burgers and Beer Grillhouse make it onto most lists counting down the best burgers in Edinburgh and it is easy to see why when you try one. I think its due to the great quality Scottish beef they use, the atmosphere or the place and the juicy perfectly cooked burgers

I was invited to Burgers and Beer Grillhouse on the Royal Mile as they are claiming to have the best burger in Edinburgh and I think they might be on to a winner.

Menu at Burgers and Beer Grillhouse

When we arrived we were welcomed by Manager Chris who explained the burgers on the menu, how they are made from the freshest and best locally sourced ingredients including the finest Scottish beef.

The menu isn’t extensive but what there is sounds so good. Its a cool place to eat in, lots of tables and it was quite busy when we were there but we didn’t have to wait too long for our food.

The staff were so friendly I will definitely be heading here again if I visit Edinburgh in the future, I just wish it wasn’t so far from my home town of Bristol.

Which burger did we choose?

Me and my mum decided to share the burger as she isn’t a big burger fan. However, I think I converted her with this one as it was so delicious. I think Chris was a bit shocked when we said we would share a burger, and I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed that we were sharing as it was so good I could have ate more.

We had “The Uncle Sam” which costs £10.95. Its a 8oz beef patty, Monterey jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles & mayonnaise. Served on a white glazed bun with a side of fries. It was so juicy and you could taste it was made from fresh ingredients purely divine!!

We washed it down with two cool refreshing craft beer and it set us up for the afternoon.
