Ramada Majestic Bucharest Hotel Review

The hotel is part of the Wyndham Group and is classed as a 4 star. The comments on Trip Advisor were not very good and I was a bit worried about my stay here but everything is fine and I was very happy with my stay.

I stayed at the Ramada as part of a 4-day press trip to Bucharest organised by #Experiencebucharest. My stay was complimentary as I was working with 100 travel influencers to promote the city but it has not influenced my opinion in any way. If you can get this hotel at a reasonable price then I would recommend staying here. If you would like to book this hotel check out Booking.com or Agoda.com for the best rates.

I arrived at the hotel at 12pm and even though check in isn’t until 2pm they let me checked in early. The staff on reception were very welcoming and gave me all the necessary information.

The location is excellent near everything I was planning to visit. I noticed a ATM next to the hotel and it was near shops and cafes. Even though the hotel seems to be on one of the main streets I didn’t experience too much traffic noise.

Rooms at Ramada Majestic Hotel

The hotel has 111 rooms including 15 junior suites, 10 executive suites and 1 presidential suite. Unfortunately, I wasn’t in the presidential suite but in in room 210. It had a large comfortable double bed with 4 pillows which I loved.

Although my pillows started disappearing. The 2nd night i came home there was only 2 pillows but I found the 3rd in the wardrobe and the 3rd night I came home there were only 2 pillows and nothing in the wardrobe. I asked reception why my pillows kept being taken away and they said i should only have 2 in the first place but quickly brought me 2 extra pillows. I like a lot of pillows!!

The room was very clean. It had everything I needed, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge, TV, 3 plug sockets, lamps next to the bed – seems a silly thing to like but nothing worse than having to scramble for a light switch in the middle of the night when you need to go to the bathroom.

There were lots of storage space, including 3 drawers and a 3-section wardrobe. I felt safe in this hotel. The room had air conditioning and heating controls but I didn’t need to use them as the room was at the correct temperature for me.

I was a bit wary as my room was opposite the lift. The lift makes a bell sound every time it arrives and I thought it was going to be very annoying and noisy but I didn’t notice it.

The bathroom has a bath and a shower. It looks slightly dated but it does the job. There was also some sea mineral shampoo and shower gel, 2 x glasses, tissues and vanity kit and shower caps. Plus, a shoe shine kit and slippers supplied next to the bed.

I came back to my room on the first night and found some fruit and a welcome note I am not sure if every guest get this or because they knew I was a travel blogger but it was a really nice touch.
