Which Disney theme parks drew the most visitors in 2025? List explored as new report reveals attendance leaders and biggest gains

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) recently released the list of global theme park attendance in 2026.

Disney Experiences has once again emerged as the big daddy, dominating the list. Some of Disney’s theme parks draw major crowds, retain their top positions, and post strong numbers. However, several Disney destinations saw a major dip in footfall.

Disney theme parks lead the North American market

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida has attracted over 17.836 million visitors in 2025, making it North America’s most-visited theme park. Disney’s California park ranks second, with over 17.406 million visitors. EPCOT Theme Park, with 12.1 million visitors, ranked third. Disney California Adventure drew 10 million visitors, followed by Disney’s Animal Kingdom with 8 million.

Despite Disney leading the pack, all four Walt Disney theme parks recorded a 0.2 percent decline in footfall compared to 2024. However, DisneylandPark and Disney California Adventure reported a 0.4 percent increase.

Disneyland Paris overtook the promotion’s Hollywood Studios to climb to ninth, up from 10th. Walt Disney Studios Park also climbed to 19th from 20th, with footfall up 5.7 percent. That said, Disney continues to dominate the scene, holding six of the top eight positions in North America. This showcases how strong a hold the company has in the industry.

A new giant has entered the market

Disney has been an absolute juggernaut in the theme-park industry, but another giant has entered the market with shining colors and has also shown major growth.

The brand in question is Universal Epic Universe, which ranked No. 13 among North America’s most visited theme parks, serving over 4 million visitors in 2025. It would have drawn, but the park opened in May 2025.
Meanwhile, even Universal Group has seen declines in its other ventures: Universal Studios Florida had 9.3 million visitors, a 2.1 percent decrease, while Islands of Adventure welcomed 9.2 million visitors, a 2.6 percent decline. Universal Studios Hollywood has also experienced an 8 percent decline.
