Visiting Seoul in November? Here’s what to expect during Seoul Travel Week 2026

The winter holiday is approaching. If you are planning a trip abroad in November, you must consider Seoul if it’s not already on your travel bucket list, and this article could be the perfect guide to spending a week in the capital of South Korea. For those unaware, Seoul is currently gearing up to welcome international visitors to its 2026 Seoul Travel Week.

According to The Korea Times, the tourism and cultural initiative, run from November 14 to 20, is organized by the city’s Metropolitan Government. It will showcase Korean culture to tourists through traditional crafts, cooking sessions, beauty workshops, K-pop activities and guided city tours. This year’s program ditches the large-scale events and focuses on smaller, interactive events that let spectators discover Korean culture and traditions.

How can foreign tourists register?

The registration portals for experience programs are scheduled to open on November 5 at 2 p.m. International tourists can book tickets before they sell out. Some activities may already reach capacity before the event begins.

Entire week plan

On the opening days, November 14 and 15, the city will feature a Seoul tourism booth at Gocheok Sky Dome with the 2026 Melon Music Awards. Travelers can take part in augmented experiences featuring Korean filming locations, tourism quizzes and AI photo corners.

As the week moves on to November 16, travelers can take part in multiple cultural activities across the city, from Korean crafts such as hand mirrors to ornament-making at the Bukchon Traditional Crafts Experience Center. On November 17, travelers can visit Amorepacific’s headquarters to attend a K-beauty workshop led by professional makeup artists.

Actor Nam Jung-woo will serve as a tour guide, taking visitors through popular K-drama and K-pop filming locations around Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and the evening photography tour will showcase the eye-catching nighttime scenery. On November 19, wanderers can head to Ottogi’s O’Kitchen Studio for a Korean cooking class to learn some famous local dishes.

On November 20, the final day of the event, activities will take place at DDP’s Oullim Square; the day’s events will include a K-pop dance event and a special taekwondo performance.
